The Rushes Soho Shorts Awards celebrate UK and international filmmakers across live action, animation, music promo, fiction, factual, experimental and branded content.

Rushes Soho Shorts has an open submissions policy for all programmes.
Entry fee for submission is £15. Students £10.
Work should be up to 15 minutes in length to be considered in the short form categories and up to 30 minutes in length to be considered for the long form award.
UK FOCUSED CATEGORIES:
Short Film
– live action work under 15mins, from long standing filmmakers
Newcomer
– live action work under 15mins, from new filmmakers
FOREIGN FOCUS CATEGORY:
International
- live action work under 15mins, from new and long standing filmmakers
GLOBAL CATEGORIES:
Animation
– animated work under 15mins from new and long standing filmmakers
Documentary
– factual work under 15mins from new and long standing filmmakers
Music Video
– promo work under 15mins from new and long standing filmmakers
Long Form
– live action work under 30mins from new and long standing filmmakers
Pushing Boundaries
– brilliantly creative, experimental or branded work under 5mins from new and long standing filmmakers

Final delivery for selected short films must be delivered on one of the following:
PAL Digibeta / PAL Betacam SP / or PAL HDCam.
We’ll be announcing the films selected for competition on 1 June on

Our 14th annual celebration of all things short will be running from 11 to 20 July 2012.
Join us over the 10 days of the festival, where our official screenings will take place at the ICA (
www.ica.org.uk
), running alongside guest programmes and events covering all aspects of short format media at BAFTA, The Hospital Club, Deluxe Soho, Apollo Cinemas and in locations throughout Soho and beyond.
